  •   About M. Sc. Microbiology Course:
    Microbiology is the study of microorganisms. It encompasses various disciplines such as Microbial Diversity and Systematics, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Medical Microbiology, Applied Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Industrial Microbiology etc. Microbiology has both basic and applied aspects. Research and development in microbiology has led to the emergence of two new fields, namely molecular biology and genetic engineering. Microbiology is one of the most popular upcoming streams in the applied sciences. The subject explores the relevance of microbes to the mankind, by enlightening students about their useful and harmful aspects. Therefore, there is an ever increasing demand of microbiologist in India and globally.
